         In this post I wanted to discuss, Nearpod, a website that I chose to explore for the 7 events worksheet as well as from Dr. Wang's technologies powerpoint. Near pod is mentioned in the top 15 mentioned softwares between Elementary and Secondary, being mentioned for both. 

    Nearpod is similar to both EdPuzzle, and EdSocrative with the interactive aspects for students and the saving of different lessons already created and available on the website. The differences being the layout of the website, as well as the range of grades and activities. 

    For example, near pod has more options on the side menu and home page. It has a tutorial type of emphasis when first logging on. Theres a blue banner with what seems like milestones to reach to understand the layout easier. This is exceptionally helpful for teachers to get the full access quicker and easier. 

    Another example of differences I mentioned is the range of activities. On Edpuzzle it was simply interactive educational videos. On EdSocrative, it was only assessments. With Nearpod, there are interactive lessons such as activities to print out that follow a lesson on the board, and interactive videos, and assessments too. The use of these lessons is dependable on the lesson you choose, you can view it from student's point of view however, I had some trouble with the interactive part on a students side. This may be due to some lessons being uploaded by individual teachers and their data not transferring through perfectly. 

    Which brings me to another great difference, the create option in the top right corner. You can create a lesson fully on nearpod, which has a wide range of powerpoints, interaactive videos, fill in questions, or simple activity sheets. Or you can do a video, and insert questions. Create an activity, or simply just upload google slides.

    The range of grades is simply broader and more inclusive than the other websites I have mentioned so far as well. The accessibility is great, and the wide range in which you can use this website for is amazing.

 In this post I will be discussing Blackboard, a technology from Dr. Wang's "Top 15 mentioned technologies in the classroom" List.           Blackboard seems to be very similar to Canvas. I believe this is the website my dad had to use when completing college courses online through the Army. It has your course and ways to sort/filter through them. It has Calendar, Messages, Grades, and a tab for assistance for your use. I played around with all the different tabs, but you also can learn through tutorials. In the grading tab its visually pleasing being organized by the class, then by the assignment. With each showing how many have submitted and have not.           It seems to have generated a fake class for me to try out in the free trial.  In this post I will be discussing Kahoot, a technology listed in many slides, in Dr. Wang's powerpoint. Please use the link below to visit the website.  https://kahoot.com/         The first time I had participated in Kahoot was when I came to Spokane my sophomore year of high school. It was typically used as a brain break towards the end of class, and would be about disney, or any topics we chose. Then some teachers started using it as a review game for upcoming assessments.           Now going to the website it seems that there are a lot of different ways and usage for this website. I was only ever on the student side when using kahoot, so I didn't realize you could log on and create your own.  The customization of your assessments is great for the range of topics you can cover in classes.
