Post 10: Go Noodle!

     In this post I will be discussing a website that I have used before, and is also found in Dr. Wang's powerpoint. This website is called, Go Noodle!  You may use the link below to reach it.

    The first time I had heard of this website, I was doing shadowing hours for a class at SFCC. The class I was shadowing would use it for a brain break, and to learn something during snack time. I then got it about a year later when I got a job at the same school during covid. 

    Go noodle has mainly is a website for educational and fun videos. Majority of the videos are musical, but have lots of information for your students to learn. I believe some are interactive for the class to decide what to watch next or something. There is a wide range of what type of videos are available, theres rap, dances, and cartoons. Its engaging not only for the kids, but for you too. It is a great addition to any classroom.

 In this post I will be discussing Blackboard, a technology from Dr. Wang's "Top 15 mentioned technologies in the classroom" List.           Blackboard seems to be very similar to Canvas. I believe this is the website my dad had to use when completing college courses online through the Army. It has your course and ways to sort/filter through them. It has Calendar, Messages, Grades, and a tab for assistance for your use. I played around with all the different tabs, but you also can learn through tutorials. In the grading tab its visually pleasing being organized by the class, then by the assignment. With each showing how many have submitted and have not.           It seems to have generated a fake class for me to try out in the free trial. Post #12: Kahoot

 In this post I will be discussing Kahoot, a technology listed in many slides, in Dr. Wang's powerpoint. Please use the link below to visit the website.  https://kahoot.com/         The first time I had participated in Kahoot was when I came to Spokane my sophomore year of high school. It was typically used as a brain break towards the end of class, and would be about disney, or any topics we chose. Then some teachers started using it as a review game for upcoming assessments.           Now going to the website it seems that there are a lot of different ways and usage for this website. I was only ever on the student side when using kahoot, so I didn't realize you could log on and create your own.  The customization of your assessments is great for the range of topics you can cover in classes.
